Photographers Thought

Working with so many couples each wedding is different in it's own unique way but always enjoyable so I doubt if my methods could be categorised as being of one style for example classical, or reportage at any one wedding but use any style in proportion and would err away from using any one particular method all the time .

Weddings in the West of Scotland often have spectacular scenery and I try weather permitting to use this to it's best advantage".

SILVER WEDDING PACKAGE

This package will capture the memories of your day admirably both at the ceremony and the reception venue up to the start of the reception meal and if required during that time an additional photo venue can be used for those special photographs of the bride and groom. This arrangement is ideal of for the small wedding with up to approximately thirty guests  in attendance.

THIS PACKAGE INCLUDES

Provision of wedding photography advice notes and preference list

Attendance of the photographer from just before the start of the ceremony until the start of the reception meal.

Provision of a preview album containing sample prints of the photographs taken on the day

An album Chosen by you  from the Spicer Hallfield Traditional collection containing 20 pages of prints up to a maximum size of 8 x 6 size on each page, or up to 3 smaller images on a page which is a maximum of 60 prints in the album at minimum size, sizes and layout are chosen by you for each page.

GOLD WEDDING PACKAGE

       The gold wedding package is designed for the small to medium sized wedding. Where a higher quality and quantity of product is required. Photographs would be taken immediately prior to the ceremony and after, also at the reception venue, choosing the most suitable of the two for  the majority of the photographs. Weather and time permitting an additional location may be used for the more personal bride and groom photos. This package also includes a wider choice of album constructed from superior materials than that of the two previous packages.

THIS PACKAGE INCLUDES

Attendance of the photographer from just before the start of the ceremony until the start of the reception meal.

Provision of a preview album containing sample prints of the photographs taken on the day

An album Chosen by you  from the Spicer Hallfield Handmade collection containing 30 pages of prints up to a maximum size of 8 x 6 size on each page, or up to 3 smaller images on a page which is a maximum of 90 prints in the album at minimum size, sizes and layout are chosen by you for each page.

PLATINUM WEDDING PACKAGE

For the larger wedding which  requires a more comprehensive service the Platinum selection is ideal. This unique package includes larger sized prints in your presentation medium and a wider choice of bookbound presentation album styles and formats from the Spicer Hallfield Collection. Photography covers from the bride at home and  the days major events including weather and time permitting an additional photographic location for the more intimate bride and groom photos with the final photographs being taken at the start of the reception meal.

Pre wedding consultation at our studio for the bride & groom

Attendance of the photographer from relaxed photos of the bride at home until the start of the reception meal

DIAMOND WEDDING PACKAGE

A most prestigious and elite wedding photographic service covering all the days events from the bride at home to the first dance of the evening celebrations.

This very special arrangement which will meet your photographic needs as the photographer and assistant is with you all day to catch those special  moments, in addition prior to your wedding day  you will be invited to the studio for a consultation and a relaxed and informal portrait sitting this allows you to get to know the photographer that will be with you on the day this we find makes for a more relaxed and enjoyable wedding day, (the photos from the sitting are sent to you on CD for you to use as you wish). The package also  includes 2 gift albums, two framed prints and the ultimate of albums for the final presentation of your photographs

Pre wedding consultation and photo shoot at our studio for the bride and groom

Attendance of the photographer and assistant for the full day (approx 10am - 9pm)

An album Chosen by you  from the Spicer Hallfield Elizabethan collection containing 50 pages of prints up to a maximum size of 10 x 8 size on each page, or up to 3 smaller images on a page which is a maximum of 150 prints in the album at minimum size, sizes and layout are chosen by you for each page, this album also includes a tailor made briefcase to hold your album a very special presentation.

 Photographic styles & Quality of Service 

Cameron has been working with bride and grooms of many nationalities for over 15 years and as a qualified member of the Master Photographers Association his standard of work is therefore assured.

Highland Photo's wedding photography is processed to a very high standard including and where required and possible minor digital manipulation for example eyes opened where closed. The materials being used have been selected to attain the best results possible and each photograph has been adjusted for correct color density and contrast by our internationally acclaimed processor, they are then hand mounted and placed in the appropriate high quality albums or mediums prior to delivery.

What's Included 

Remember all package prices shown include  materials, including albums service charges and any taxes applied, no hidden costs.

Postage or delivery is included in the price for all items sent to addresses within the UK & BFPO

HM Forces and Emergency services discounts are available PLEASE ASK FOR DETAILS prior to booking

Overseas dispatch for wedding album packages add £50

Part of the service includes the provision of a photograph list from which you can choose the type & style of photographs that you would like, and give you ideas for more.

The preview album which is provided with all packages as part of the service (except CD Only Packages) contains the proofs of the photographs taken this would be delivered in approximately two weeks  and the main presentation album would usually be dispatched  within a three week period from the receipt of your selection

We do NOT require the return of the preview album.

 Special terms discounted rates are available for brides requiring additional framed prints

Our wedding photography service is presently available throughout UK. However venues over 50 miles from Oban or those where ferry transport or overnight stay is required MAY be charged an additional  fee arranged prior to booking.

Sepia or Black & White Prints

We take photographs and print them in Black & White or Sepia shade, a form of photography that gives your album a more traditional theme.

Dual Effects

As above where colour and Black and white are used for emphasis and dramatic contrast, this service is applied by the photographer when considered appropriate

Avant-Guarde

Where the photographer has specifically taken in certain ideal conditions images that are suitable to have  special effects applied to them for example colour enhancement or fading applied in the processing by the photographer

All or some of the above effects may or may not be used by the photographer when preparing your photographs but when used will be shown in your preview album in addition to normal colour prints of the same image, no additional charges are made for this service and are solely the creative work of the photographer at his discression.

Additional services

Fun Cameras

It often occurs that the most candid pictures of a Wedding celebration happen well on into the evening, long after the photographer has left. If required we can arrange for several fun cameras to be made available for use by your guests at the evening celebration and tell your guests to do the snapping.  We will carry out the processing and put the photographs in a casual album for easy presentation of those candid moments. 

£ 15  each

Gift Albums

Gift albums to compliment the main presentation album, these are often given as presents to parents, relatives or close friends. It is possible to order some of these albums with "Our Daughters Wedding" or  "Our sons wedding" embossed on the front of the album, a special touch for proud parents.

All photographs are 7 x 5 in size

REPRINTS

Reprints are available to order in addition to any albums provided, full details are shown in the preview albums or on the client dedicated web pages and costs vary with sizes and method of presentation i.e. standard mount, art mount or framed, smallest size available is 8"x 6" and is provided in a standard mount at a cost of £12 this includes packaging and postage costs UK and BFPO

DVD COPY (Coming Soon)

A Slide show style record of all photographs provided in the preview album set to suitable music in DVD compatible low resolution screen display format 

CD Copy

A record of all the photographs in your preview album recorded on to CD in hi resolution jpeg file format suitable for print purposes and accompanied by photographers note of release of reproduction rights as per Copyright Act 1988
